Product Description

Air-bag type sequential external counter pulsation EECP rehabilitation machine

External Counter-pulsation is a non-invasive, safe and effective method for the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of is chemic diseases including cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

Product Description

According to a large number of clinical application results, Enhanced External Counter-pulsation has significant effects on ischemic diseases of the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular, various organs and limbs. lt can increase blood perfusion, establish collateral circulation, accelerate blood flow, and improve endothelial cell function. it canalso be used for rehabilitation, health care and fatigue elimination.

EECP Therapy Mechanism

1.ECP device increases the diastolic blood flow to th eaorta, thereby increasing the blood perfusion of vitalorgans such as coronary arteries, brain, and kidneys

2.During cardiac systole, peripheral resistance sharply decreases, favoring ventricular ejection and leading to a reduction in myocardial oxygen consumption.

3.Affecting blood rheology and changes in certain bioactive substances.

4.Increasing blood circulation, facilitating the opening of collateral branches and an astomoses of important organs, and improving micro circulation.

5.Increasing the shear stress of blood flow, improvingthe function of vascular endothelial cells, inhibiting the occurrence and development of a theroscleroticesions.

EECP Operating Principle

Diastole

External Counter-pulsation uses the R wave of the human body's ECG as a trigger signal. During the diastole phase the air bag at the distal end of the limb is inflated sequentially to the air bag at the proximal end, compressing the limb and forcing blood from arteries in the limbs and buttocks to flowback to the aorta to increase aortic pressure and blood volume, thereby increasing the blood perfusion of vitalorgans such as the heart, brain, and kidneys.

Systole

The air-bag deflates rapidly before systole phase and the vessels of the compressed limbs get loosened immediately. resulting in a sharp drop of peripheral resistance, which is helpful for the blood ejected from the ventricle to inject rapidly into the artery of limbs via the aorta. This is repeated again and again as per the cardiac cycle to achieve the therapeutic goal.
